production capacity of Christiana Beef currently allows for Contract Feeders to be accommodated to finish their own bred or purchased weaner calves or cull breeding stock within our production process. This service affords farmers the opportunity to earn an additional return on the same animal and to participate in an extended value chain. This is additional value without bearing the opportunity risk of the production process or incurring the costs associated with the availability of all the production facilities required for such a process.
